第七天, 好不容易忍到這天, 全身水腫, 醫生因發覺她的腎臟開始有問題, 所以要給她大量水保住腎功能, 她要忍受一段水腫的日子, 等待腎功能回復, 中午十二點半那兩個臍帶血已經預備好, 第一個臍帶血的HLA Type是4/6 與她身體脗合且是A positive血型, 接著第二個只有3/6的HLA type 與兩年前那個臍帶血脗合, 血型則是 AB positive 的, 但 Vol. 卻是頭一個臍帶血的一倍, 第二個臍帶血輸入時, 叫她腹痛難當, 打了嗎啡針才能止痛, 也吐了一次, 48小時內臍帶血的干細胞會尋找可安身之所, 他們的T-cell 也會開始成長, 到底是那個臍帶血誰勝誰負, 廿一天後便會知曉, 這段期間感染是她的最大死敵, 苦悶是她最大的心靈宿敵, 當中有甚麼變化, 體內兩臍帶血的生死戰能否一掽將癌的干細胞也全數殺死只有神知道, 世界最有名的醫生, 世界最先進的醫院也無法預測, 她能否成功創造醫學上的歷史, 兩次使用臍帶血移植j都成功的第一人要看神的工作, 第三個臍帶血也在醫院等著看是否需要, 她的主治醫生Dr. Barker不在, 也許本週末才回來, 但我們也不大憂慮, 因有神在比誰都重要, 治癌不可能單靠一個醫生的, 是一個整體的團隊, 臍帶血輸入前文筠主動要求先禱告, 因為太多未知之數, 交託神求神一路引帶。禱文也是那句, 願主底徹醫治, 盼望這是她最後一次的移植, 還有多加了, 求神也聽大家的禱告, 在文筠醫治的過程上顯出你的榮耀。
Glory was given a large quantity of water because the doctor saw that her kidneys are showing signs of problem. Her body is all swollen with water. She has to put up with this for some time, until her kidney function returns to normal. By 12:30pm, the 2 baby cord blood were ready for transplant. The first baby cord blood is a 4/6 HLA type matching to her own body's, type A. The second baby cord blood is only 3/6 HLA type, matching the baby cord blood she received from 2 years ago, but it's an AB positive blood type. The volume of the second baby cord blood is twice of that of the first baby cord blood. When Glory was given the second baby cord blood, she had immense pain in her abdomen, and was given morphene. She vomitted once. In 48 hours, the baby cord blood cells will find a place to lodge in her body. Their T-cell will begin to grow. In 21 days, we will know which of the 2 baby cord blood will dominate and take over. The greatest nemesis during this time is infection. The greatest enemy for her soul is boredom.
What will happen during these 21 days? Will the battle between the 2 baby cord blood help kill all the cancer cells as well? Only God knows. Not even the best doctor in this worlld, nor the best known hospital can predict the outcome. Will Glory be successful in writing a new chapter in the medical history of the world? It is up to God if she is the first patient to successfully receive baby cord blood transplant twice. A third baby cord blood has arrived in the hospeital, standing by. Her own doctor, Dr Baker is out of town. Maybe he is due back this weekend. We are not too worried. It is more important to have God's presence, over anybody else. We cannot depend on just one doctor for the cure of cancer. It is a team effort. Before the transplant, Glory asked for prayers, because there's simply too much unknown before us. May the Lord continue to lead. Our prayer was the same, may God totally heal, may this be her last transplant. On top of that, we added, may God hear the prayers of many, and display His own glory through the entire treatment process.
