I had just finish watching the film that teach you how to care for the Broviac/ Hickman’s catheter that I’m gonna get on Tues. I’m really scared. The lumen, the tube that sticks out….it’s so gross! Whenever the nurse moved it. I could practically feel it hurting right in the chest. I can’t imagine now I’m ever going to take care of that thing! But I see the little girl in the movie hardly scared & then I think its not so bad….that or I’m just a real waste!
