I Peter 2:1 – Rid yourself of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy…. 

What is envy? Wanting something you don’t have? When I see girls wearing short or even knee length skirts and I see their clean smooth legs…..I wish mine were like theirs – normal. Does that count as envy? When I see people active – ice skating, climbing, and people dating holding hands without a crutch in the way & I feel a pang of wanting is that envy? When what I want for myself is what’s normal for everyone etc…..is that still envy? Or is it envy because I’m not satisfied with the body/ physic I have?
