That day the rain drizzled down on us as the last tulips were handed to glory. Then the drizzling grew heavier and it felt like teardrops - perhaps of ours at losing our dearest friend, or hers at seeing us walk away from her, or perhaps...perhaps they were from God as he watched us and wept for our pain, telling us how sorry he was to take her away so soon. I want to believe that the rain held a little of all our tears, but most especially those of Him.
Glory, I say this to everyone person that asks: your memorial service, funeral service,..everything was perfect -- even the weather chipped in.
