12/14/06 - CNN's Glenn Beck profiles a 12-year-old art prodigy who paints spiritual artwork well beyond her years.

What makes Akiane so fascinating is not so much how well she paints, but rather the subject of her work and her inspiration. Akiane claims to have met God when she was just 3. He told her that she needs to paint and help the less fortunate. He also noted that he’d be there to guide her along the way.

It gets more bizarre when you discover that her mother is an Atheist and her father a recovering Catholic. Religion was never discussed in the house and the kids are all home schooled.

	Poor Tony D. I'm guessing he is imprisoned by the fundalistic view that God is totally in control of everything and not constantly in a battle with the evil one who is responsible for those deformed babies to whom he aludes and for whom Tony seems to blame God.

	A very gifted young girl who believes what she is doing is miraculous. It is however interesting to note that the paintings of God are typical of the face that has been painted for many thousands of years even before the time of Jesus when the worship of Sun Gods predominated. She paints and describes the beauty but nothing of the ugly religious abominations that have evolved throughout the history of religious indoctrination. Perhaps she is too young to dream and imagine the children that are born every day with horrible God created deformities both physical and mental. She is indeed lucky to have the talent she has, against great odds. I don't consider this a miracle by any measure.

	Dear Arkiyana. I am a self tought artist. god gives that gift to many that want to share. I must say that when I saw the painting of Jesus it took my breath away. I saw my own eyes. I know then that He is my father in heaven. To feel that though your painting made me believe even more that he loves me. I have very different eyes and have been told that all my life. I see why now. Thank you for you love that you have shared with us. May you stay grounded in Gods love. May Angels protect you and be bless even more. Love DeLoarine

	Akiane Your paintings are beautiful. The expressions you portray are overwhelming. I can feel myself looking at the person, your painting brings them to life. I feel inspired and close to God. I agree that only someone that has walked with our Lord could possibly have the talent you do. I would be so happy to purchase one of your paintings. Please let me know if this is ever possible. Keep up your great spiritual quest. I will pray that your message is sent around the world. I'm sure the world will embrace you & your incredible gift. May God bless you and your family.

	Such a blessing to all of us. So many of us are yearning for God and His peace. Arkiyana shares her visions with us and we're lifted. Wouldn't it be great if we could all just sit and talk with her for awhile.

	This girl is a gift to all of us from God. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. She is just beautiful. Her mother, though, is no longer an atheist. And I resent your use of the term "recovering" catholic. Please be more sensative when sharing something so precious. All christians can appreciate this girl.
